Rihanna, Madonna & Mary J Blige's UNICEF/Gucci Night Out

Rihanna attended the 2008 UNICEF Snowflake Lighting in NYC yesterday evening. The event was held at the Grand Army Plaza. The “Umbrella” songstress joined forces with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini with the night’s honorary lighting duties - which followed a performance by Neyo. After the lighting ceremony, a cocktail party in the Gucci 5th Avenue flagship store is scheduled to follow - celebrating “the launch of the 4th annual Gucci Campaign to Benefit UNICEF which continues to support education, healthcare, protection and clean water programs for orphans and children affected by HIV/AIDS in sub-Saharan Africa.”

She then attended the Gucci Tattoo Heart Collection launch to benefit UNICEF, with Madonna sporting a frilly green sleeveless minidress with fishnet stockings and strappy heels, while Rihanna rocked a sexy lavender gown complete with a plunging backline. Mary J. Blige was also there of course with her other half.
